Questions
The things people ask me.
- Why is there no contact form?
- This is a static site, which is what makes it fast and free to run. Instead of a form you get buttons that ring your phone, open WhatsApp or start an email. Honestly, most people prefer that anyway. Form messages have a habit of landing in a spam folder nobody checks.
- What if I want something changed later?
- You get two rounds of changes while I'm building it. After it's signed off, any change gets quoted first, however small it is, so you're never surprised by a bill. If something genuinely breaks though, that's a fix and I sort it free for a year.
- Is it really mine?
- Yes. The domain is registered in your name and the site is yours. I host it for free because it costs me nothing to do. If you ever want to move it, say the word and I'll send you the files.
- Can you do my logo as well?
- No. I don't do logo design at any price, and I'd rather tell you that than do a bad job of it. What I will do is style the site around your colours, or around other sites you show me that you like the look of.
- I haven't got any photos or anything written down.
- That's fine and it's normal. Send me what you have and tell me about the business, and I'll sort the rest out.
