Questions
The things people ask me.
- What is the £49 a month actually for?
- Running the thing. It sits on my servers, gets backed up, kept updated and watched in case it goes down. It also covers 30 minutes of changes a month, so small tweaks don't turn into invoices.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- Your content and your files are always yours and I'll hand them over. Being straight with you though: a site like this needs proper technical hosting to stay online, so it isn't something you can just drop onto any old hosting yourself. If you'd rather go it alone, I'll quote you to turn it into a simple static site that runs anywhere.
- Why would I not just get the Essential one?
- Most people should get the Essential one. This is worth it if your prices or opening hours change often enough that messaging me every time would annoy you, or if you need enquiries coming in through the site itself.
- Am I tied into a contract?
- Three months minimum, then it rolls month to month and you give me 30 days notice whenever you want to stop.
